Do you have a DIMM in the first slot (J0201)?

There are several ways to clear a PROM password.  If you can boot the
system up and log in as root, the eeprom command from within the OS can be
used to disable PROM security.

The second contains my method to remove a PROM password without buying a
new NVRAM chip or hot-swapping any parts.  Buy one (20 cent) socket and
you're set.
