You may have overlooked several things here.

1. A "boot -r"  is probably required for the new system to pick up its disks.

2. Disksuite requires "Metadbs" to be created on the new system. Mirroring etc
will fail unless a minimal number of these are present.


My suggestion:

1. Restore the system onto 2 of the disks without mirroring activated. (Note
this involves hacking /etc/vfstab to point at the correct "device files", keep a
backup on disk of the "disksuite enabled" version).
2. RTFM for disksuite. Set it up and create metadbs as required, activate
mirroring.
3. Hack /etc/vfstab back to its original state, or copy your backup copy back
in.
