[SPARCbook] Bigger disk drives

I've got two 1.2Gb disks for my 3gx, but would like something bigger.
Sourcing the disks is not a problem.  However, I only have the two
disk caddies, no spares.  I'd like to re-use them for the larger
capacity disks, but can't see how to get in to them.  I'd be grateful
for any help.
