Hey Craig,

I have a couple of Spacbooks. How did you get 128m Ram on it? I thought the
limit was 64m or ram. Where did you buy the ram?

Thanks Phil

I have a Tadpole Sparcbook model 3GX, 128Mb RAM, 1.2G HDD, 110MHz
MicroSPARC-II CPU. When I got the unit, it was evidently previously owned
by Oracle (ARIN says the IP it was configured with is registered to them)
and it is almost brand-new (the keyboard, and, most tellingly, the mouse
pointer have zero wear). However, the display is dim (I believe the
backlight is out) and the battery is good for a max 2 minutes at full
charge. I have been running it with an external 17" monitor in
1152x900 at 66Hz mode, and a type 5c keyboard, and it's absolutely
spectacular as a portable workstation. Includes external 10Mbps ethernet
transceiver, carry case, and power cable. Solaris 2.6 + Tadpole utils are
currently installed, and I have the backups of the Solaris 2.4 partitions
it came with. Asking $400. I'm selling it because my company is likely
going out of business in a few months and I can't really have any toys any
more :/. Shipping not included. Please forward this to whoever you think
may be interested, or mail me. I'm in L.A. if anyone would like to
inspect the unit.

Detailed specifications of the unit are availible at these URLs:
