Well true, that would be simplest option - in fact I bought a SATA DVDRW
drive and controller, but adding any more I/O cards results in not being
able to boot off my SCSI card, which is a shame.
The nearest card that worked was a Promise one that had both SATA and
IDE, but somehow the SATA bit seems to corrupt data coming from the
drive and the IDE bit only accepts hard drives, which is stupid.

Lol, thanks for the offer, but I don't think my machine would like them
together with my current cards :(
