I don't recall the airline or type of plane, but a friend was
flying recently and while the plane was still sitting on the
runway they couldn't get the nav computer to work.  The fix
was to remove power completely, which apparently couldn't be
done from the cockpit without shutting down ALL power to the
plane.  He was somewhat concerned about flying on a plane
that required a reboot.

I heard Longhorn will be immune from the Blue Screen of Death.
(They made it red.)

I can't count the number of people I've confused over the years working
with my Alpha workstation.  When you run an attached monitor in text
mode (either from the SRM hardware prompt or in the OS), the default
screen is blue with white text.

"Did it crash?"
"Umm... no.  Why?"
