[rescue] Of SPARCbooks, screens, and heat

   Well, it seems that they do, and mine looks like it dodged a bullet.
I had to take it into $PPOE to get a few hundred megs of stuff off the
disk, and when I powered it on I fully expected to see the mass of
vertical lines that had appeared on Saturday when the machine was a wee
bit on the hot side.  Much to my surprise, none appeared, and haven't
come back in the hour or so that the machine has been powered up.

   Whew!

   Is this just a fluke, or have other folks seen issues with the
LCD screens in SPARCbooks when the temperatures exceed about 80
degrees?  How many folks on the Rescue List have SPARCbooks; I wonder
what the sample size is here.
