Yup, after installing one replacement RBC7 battery pack for the
tested-and-known-dead pack, it powered up, but complained its batteries
needed replacing. (Aha," I thought, "other battery pack is weak."
Swapped in the recently-new RBC7 battery pack from the SU1400, and the
SU3000RM powers up and runs.

Interestingly, the SU3000 is indicating around 20% load on the front
panel, sourcing the same load under which the SU1400 was indicating load
of 80% or higher.

Next on the agenda: Seeing whether I can assemble a working RBC7 pack
for the SU1400 from the two bad RBC7 packs I now have. There's only two
cell combinations to try, since one of the four batteries is internally
open-circuit, and of the remaining three possible pairs, I know the
current combination won't work.
