This doesn't fix your problem, but did you have these machines connected
to a proper online UPS?  I've heard many tales of people who would loose
Onyx or Crimson PSU after PSU until they broke down and bought an online
UPS.  I'm guessing anything in that chassis probably has the same
problem.
