Yes, thanks for finding it; I haven't looked yet, but is the extra software
from Tadpole also available? Looking through the PDF I see some battery monitor
applications which I suspect are not standard HP-UX. Also nice that it runs
standard HP-UX 10.20-11.0, any idea if this extends to 11i?

There was also this nice list to be found with Google:

http://www.unixlaptops.com/PB01mar01.PDF

Their homepage still lists these items, so I suppose they are still selling
precisionbooks? Although their homepage doesn't look current to me. Or is
Tadpole still selling the expansion units? I would like to have one, but
ofcourse only if it's reasonably priced.

While searching for precisionbook, I also saw this on openpa.net:

  http://www.openpa.net/systems/3050rx.html

"3050RX/100C
A color laptop workstation using the PA/50L CPU from Hitachi. RAM ranges from
16MB to 80MB, it included a 500MB internal harddrive and a XGA (1024x768) TFT
display. " and "All of these machines run Hitachi's HI-UX/WE2 which should be
compatible with HP-UX"

Anyone ever seen one of these? I must admit I've never even heard of HI-UX.

  greetings,
   Michiel
