Just got it open,

I'm not sure what a DECish model number looks like but the top of the
controller has some numbers:

70-31503-01
B01
CX62500530

Peering around inside with a flash light I spotted one of the ribbon
cables marked d|i|g|i|t|a|l with a date of 9/95 on it

Its got a number on it: 17-03579-03

There is some other writing on the cable as well but I cant turn it enough
to read any more. I have yet to figure out how to get the other side of
the box open if it opens at all.

Tomorrow will be Time to search for my tools and see what else I can gain
access to.
