Subject: [sgihelp] Remote installation on an Indy

hi, for the past like 5 hours I've been battling this Indy trying to set it
up... I want to install IRIX on it remotely... I setup my O2 to serve the
CD, and booted the Indy from the 192.168.1.33:/CDROM/stand/fm.ARCS through
command
monitor... so it booted into inst (well actualy I had to setup the disk
partitions before this)... but then when I try
open 192.168.1.33:/CDROM/dist, it gives me "ERROR: Lost connection to
192.168.1.33", I can rlogin, tftp and do all the stuff the IRIX Admin
Software Installation guide tells me to do, but I can not figure out why it
doesn't want to open the CDs...

Please someone, help me... I am this > < close to taking a bat to IT...

thanks

Stou
