Symbios SYM22801.  You will not saturate 2 UW SCSI channels with 2 drives,
even speed demons.  If you need more bandwidth, add more controllers (2
SYM22801's will easily completely saturate a single 32-bit/33MHz PCI bus).

The LSI/Symbios/NCR SCSI chipsets are quite highly regarded in the
embedded world, I'm not sure why they don't seem to carry as much market
share in the PC marketplace.
