Hey now, baby steps.  First we need to make it a requirement for
congressmen to -READ- the bills before they pass them.  Maybe then we can
limit them to one thing at a time, or possibly even force them to write
the bills themselves instead of outsourcing that work to their
assistants[0].

Hmm, they don't -write- the bills.  They don't -read- the bills.  They
spend a large portion of their time in-office campaigning for their next
offices...why do we need these morons, again?


[0] For what it's worth, Downsize DC have been running a "Read the Bills"
     campaign, a "One Subject at a Time" campaign, and a "Write the Bills"
     campaign for years.  No one in Congress (not even Dr. Paul) has really
     taken substantive notice yet, though.
