Well, yeah, but it's the same car in name only.  They keep re-attaching 
the 911 designation to new cars that look similar in overall layout and 
shape to the casual glance, but are very different under the skin and 
are actually designated something else altogether (the current model is 
actually designated 997, if memory serves).

The same applies to the Land Rover and the Range Rover.  They're 
different cars with the same name.
