VW Beetle: 1938 - 2003, 65 years

I saw one of the 2003 Beetles that was imported to the US about a year  
ago at a local Beetle parade.

They were sold as 2004 models, so you could fudge a little and call it  
66 years.

The VW Type-2 Bus is still in production, and if it does not get  
cancelled, it will become the new record holder in 7 years.
