Masking tape for temporary stuff, zip ties or cable ties for neatness  
and more permanent things.

You can buy velcro rolls which are pre-cut in lengths usually enough  
to wrap a sizable bundle of stuff.

They work just as well as the fancier stuff with little tabs and brand  
names, but cost a
fraction of that.

Regarding MacOS boot CD/DVDs... has anyone managed to find any  
customized versions of those, especially stripped versions for quick  
install and testing?

Also interesting would be the ability to put Windows, Linux, *BSD, and  
MacOS on a single DVD, since there is usually room.
