[geeks] Apple Mail: auto-archiving

When I was using mutt all the time, I used to have a key configured
that would archive the current message to a specific folder.

There were a few basic "categories" corresponding to folders where I
wanted certain messages to be saved:

	folder category	description

archive/purchases	sales messages from sellers, receipts, etc
archive/support support messages about ongoing support issues
archive/YYYY/MMDD	generic dated archiving of messages I want to save
						which don't fit other categories

That sort of thing.

What's the easiest way to do this in Mail?

Can Applescript handle this kind of thing?

I'm so used to writing shell scripts to handle stuff like this in
mutt, I feel a little lost right now.
