I don't know what the technology in the panel is, but I rather like the
color on my Samsung 226BW.  It was decent out of box and it improved
when I added a relevent premade color profile for it.  My Samsung easily
matches the MacBook screen and is better than any other LCD I've used
for a decent amount of time.

I've seen a lot of complaints about color fidelity on the Dell 2407
monitors.  I've never been able to compare one sitting next to anything
else.
