My recollection is that they modified it to not allow you to fly into
buildings or something, right?  Which, IMHO, is completely stupid for
anything you can actually train people to fly on.  It's as though your
school's Driver's Ed class used simulators that automatically stopped at
red lights and stop signs.  Would YOU want to teach a sixteen-year-old
to drive a virtual car that automatically stopped at all red lights and
stop signs, then, once they'd gotten good and used to it, turn them
loose in a real one that *didn't*?

Things like this sometimes make me think our society is doomed.  We're
far too fond of pretending that if we just stick our heads in the sand
and pretend a problem or a danger doesn't exist, it'll politely go away.
