Yes, that was a -very- welcome change.  Although, I guess it means you
can't do a floppy install anymore. :)

That's true,  I just see all that junk and glaze over.  Who wants to
deal with umpty-bazillion packages even before the OS is up?  And,
beyond that, is dependency-checking enabled at that point?
