   Street price on the 2465 is about $1500...I'd say you did pretty well 
as long as it hasn't been hit by lightning. ;)

   Since that's still a supported scope, manuals will be expensive.  
They show up on eBay frequently, but expect to pay in the neighborhood 
of $80 for it.

   I have a 2465A but no service manual...if I had one I'd send it to 
you.

   Well (for me anyway) this is offset by the fact that this is the only 
24xx-series scope I've *ever* heard of that's actually needed service!
