[SunHELP] polled cmd failed.

thank you for your reply. i already tried that. probe-scsi-all detects all the drives, but i am still getting the follow message on the console:

Target 12 rejects our message 'BUS DEVICE RESET'

SCSI transport failed: reason 'reset': retrying command
i am unsure whether the bus has gone bad or if the drive has gone bad. unfortunately i don't have any spares to test this out. the machine is a sun e3000. how would i check for scsi termination and target confilcts?

Verify that all your scsi devices are detected properly by probe-scsi-all
command, if not check the scsi link (attached properly, no target number
conflict, and terminated)
