If you can pull the interface info via SNMP then you have SNMP set up
correctly. What you need to do now is configure your fluke to pull the
correct information that you are looking for. To see what information
is available you will need to read the Sun Mib. For example if you were
to do an SNMP Get on 1.3.6.1.4.1.42.3.1.2 if would give you the Hostid
of the system.

Subject: [SunHELP] SNMP configuration for resource usage

We are running the fluke networks superagent which can kick off an SNMP
investigation for us and I need to get Solaris SNMP setup to where it
will report resource usage on the server as well. Right now the
default SNMP configs are only reporting detail on the local interface
(s). Do I need to go with another SNMP install or do I have the option
within the configuration? I did not see where I could do such through
the manpage or /etc/snmp/conf/snmp.conf file. Thanks for your time.
