or a more positive response could be:
consider checking each third party package you run, ie. veritas vxvm, emc,
etc
to see if you need to patch it first.  make sure you have ample space in
/usr and /var.
do a full backup then do backups (with new names) of /etc/system and the
conf files
in /kernel/drv.  I'd just bite the bullet after that.
