SunOS 4.1.4 supports up to the sun4d archeteacture, and all sun4m type
servers.

The biggest box that 4.1.4 will thus support is a SS1000/2000 or a
SparcStation 20 with 4 hypersparcs.

What is preventing you from running Solaris 2.x? Get a dual processor
Ultra 2 (which are quite cheap now) and load it up with Solaris 8, which
still retains SunOS 4.1.4 binary compatability.
