well it would be helpful if you gave some information....

what do your system logs say when you start sshd?

what's the output of (from another machine)
telnet yourmachine 22

can you ssh to the loopback interface?

what's the output of ps -eaf | grep sshd

what's the output of 'ls -al /var/spool/prngd' ?
