Still have not got Netscape to resolve URL's.

nsswitcg.conf is setup:

	hosts:  files dns

/etc/rc2.d/S76nscd is running.

I am thinking now that it may be proxy issue with my ISP.

Hi Dennis,

   I had exactly same problem recently. Change the hosts line in your
nsswitch.conf to:

hosts:  files dns

and it will work.
