	Hi,

I am fairly new to the world of Sun Sparc hardware and I've just
recently bought a little SparcClassic to run Linux on .. My question is,
does anyone know of a source of (or is on this list and is willing to sell
to me directly) an internal 50-pin SCSI connector like the one used on the
harddrive. i.e. 50pin SCSI to whatever number of pins there are on the
Sparc internal connector on the mainboard. I have a SCSI CD-ROM drive that
I want to connect to the bus so that I can install RedHat for Sparc on.
The Sparc I have does not have a floppy drive although I believe the
machine can boot from a CD? (that in itself is something I think I've
heard, but not been able to try yet - anyone who knows different, please
let me know!). I have a manual for the SparcClassic and have begun reading
it in the hope that I can pick something up from that too. I also have a
keyboard and VGA adaptor, so I have a reasonably working system if I can
get an installtion of Linux on it.
Anyway, any help is appreciated - I don't wish to come off as the
annoying clueless newbie (I've been familiar with PC hardware for many
years, but am venturing into Suns to 'try it out' as it were.

	Thanks,

	Derek
