FYI, "offiical word from up above" as it may be:

Len and Scott are free to say what they wish - they've been at the 'Net
longer than most of us here (even me; I was barely getting onto PC Pursuit
with a HP-110 laptop and a 300 baud modem in '91, when I was 15).  If you
dont like what they say, just shrug it off from them being "old and 
crotchety". 8-)  (just kidding).

I tend to read and respect what they say, not jump on their cases.
