I don't see why it wouldn't work. I've used devices like the Edimax
BR6258n[1] (discontinued) and the GL-iNet MT300N[2] to get
ethernet-only devices in unwired places onto my network. Both of these
little devices are 2.4GHz[3] and need re-configuration to bridge since
they default to dhcp client on WiFi and dhcp server/NAT on wired.
