If you want something newer, you might try older NetBSD. My 4/330 had issue
with 6.x, but worked almost flawlessly with 5.1.5. Which is still a lot
newer than SunOS 4.1.1 :-) So perhaps 7 is a bit optimistic on the 3/470...
