There are usually some truth behind most rumors. That stated, the only place we
have seen any "news" of this is on some website called "thelayoff.com", and it
has been almost a week since that post.
I'm holding off on the "I believe" part of this till some of the major news and
tech news sites pick this up, or, there is some announcement from Oracle.

If you want to play with all the cool new stuff in Solaris 11, but only have
sun4u (i.e. no T or M series boxes), I would suggest you hunt down a copy of
Solaris 11 Express. That version still had support for the older CPU's. That
is the easy way anyway.
