All the good stuff I hear about Fry's makes me wish there was one even
remotely close by[0].  MicroCenter and CompUSA are certainly better
than the other options, but you're right; they just don't cut it for
some things.  And there aren't really any local places around here
that are decent either[1], which is a shame since I'd be willing to
pay the "I get it now" tax and pick stuff up locally rather than
having to order from Newegg/ZipZoomFly/MWave/etc.

[0] In the state would be a nice start.
[1] There is an awesome electronics supply store in the area which is
great for cables and testers and components and all that sort of
stuff, but they don't carry anything in the way of computer hardware.
