One minor point:  Some eyes perceive better than others.  If I ever get my
fingers around the throat of the jackass that decided that brighter was
always better when it comes to headlights, I'm going to squeeze until my
fingers meet.

I have excellent night vision.  It is physically PAINFUL to me to be faced
with these oncoming "super-bright" headlights (as well as the idiots
driving with headlights AND fog lights at the same time - PICK ONE OR THE
OTHER!!).  Driving at night has become an exercise in pain avoidance.
