Yeah, they pretty much just go up and stay up when you're running DF.  I
tried running it on a spare Wintel laptop, but it ran the CPU so hard the
fan couldn't keep it cool.  It eventually shut itself down.  Of course, the
laptop is a nameless Taiwanese FPOS, and the fan's something I hacked in
when the original died, but still....

It boogies right along on the SGIs, though.
