I was so happy I was able to get on of those 2500 100baseTX cards.
Some guy posted it on ebay with a rediculusly low BIN price, so I lept
on it.  Now I just neet a 100mbit switch to connect to.  The big
professional ones still seem pricing, so maybe I'll settle for a
workgroup switch.

Unless you luck out, a PCI system with NetBSD and a DEFPA and some
100baseTX card seems like the most affordable option.
