Ok, looking at those pictures, it appears that you have the entire
system spread out on carpet w/o any ESD protection. A little hint...
that is probably the most static sensitive hardware you have.

Also, the PI graphics subsystem, looks like yours has Turbo gfx, (as
opposed to "video card") is one of the smaller graphics subsystems in
the line of Silicon Graphics hardware. Some of the graphics subsystems
in the Power Series, Crimson, Onyx, or any of the deskside and Predator
rack machines were 5-span, 12 layer, 16" x 14" board boardsets, all
using highly integrated (VLSI) ASICs, etc.
