I have a printer on USB and I need to change its HWID but devcon.exe doesn't work for this because the USBPRINT\MY-PRINTER device is not root-enumerated. I can't seem to see where I might change the actual USB HWID that the device provides over from its firmware but I need to make it appear differently. Any tips are win. Thanks!
