Since you gave APple the image, yo have a copy - if not, you can simply copy a live HD before deploying the last system, the over-writing the imae if it gets corrupted.

Not a big problem, and for simple configs, it could be very nice - our Elementary School image includes about 2 dozen discrete third-party apps, along with typical solutions (Office, iLife apps, etc.).
