Sounds like a good idea, but the chance of my finding one here is just
about zero. Like a Telebit Trailblazer modem. There is ONE in the country
(in my basement).

During the last war in Lebanon, my Internet service went down for most of
a day. My friend in the U.S. who forwards my email discussed digging
it out and trying a UUCP link using it.
