Yes.

I only run the server, Marketing/Sales "owns" the web site and the
content.  It is a complicated system, perhaps more so that you'd think
at first.  Even though we had someone familiar with Plone on the
project they significantly under-estimated the effort to build the
site.  We also found that even with a framework like this, there was
still a lot of html/css work, and a lot of places where bad/lazy
coders could make a mess of it.

My feeling is that you should use whatever CMS the web development
team is familiar with, even if it costs a few bucks.

As far as running the system goes, I have it on a fairly small Linux
box, and there don't seem to be any memory or other issues.  But we
are pretty low volume and fairly simple content.
