I know some others that have it and they don't get very good service.

Of course, I don't take any one person's word on anything, because
DSL and cable service seems to vary quite a bit.

Cox cablemodem service is hit and miss... great for some, a nightmare
for others. I know two Cox subscribers that live less than 2 miles
apart. One loves it and has great service, the other has nothing but
trouble, and their speed doesn't make it worthwhile. Both of them have
constant trouble with their email.

I'll keep it in mind.

Seems like DSL and cable both vary a lot depending on where you are.
I'll have to find people close by and see what kind of service they get.
