The people to talk to are the ones that do the boat covers that
shrink-wrap. The blue stuff.
Kind of like giant flat heat-shrink tubing. Hardens and stiffens when
it's shrunk.
Wrap some of that around the systems in question and run them past a
heat gun and you should be good to go.
