The blind curve is unlikely to last forever, and I find driving
within my visibility highly practical.

I drive 140 miles round trip to work 5 days a week on REAL roads
full of REAL stupid drivers. I haven't broken the million mark
yet, but I'm more than halfway there. Every time some knob refuses
to pay attention and rams someone, I pay for it as do the others
around me who have to wait traffic to get moving again. It takes
money right out of my pocket and marbles right out of my head. It
also kills in excess of 40 thousand people every year in this country.

I don't spend much time on the artificial treadmill you call a race track,
but if I want to inflate my mileage I may give it a shot.

No, the question was posed in hopes you would answer it. Clearly you
DO know better than to overdrive your visibility in certain situations.

Now that wasn't so hard, was it?

It would be, IF I actually said it. Which I didn't, of course.

Could you underline where I said that above? I'm having trouble
finding that one, too.

And your repeated refusal to slow down around a blind curve, which
I consider a basic driving concept.

And it's unlikely I ever shall.

Should I toss out phrases in Latin here or just childish namecalling?
You make it look so fun.

But I'm having so much fun doing it.

That might be fun, provided there was a witness and provided my vehicle
didn't sustain any real damage. It would still cost me a lot of time.

So what does actually having a record of causing accidents show?

That following too closely is a bad idea, regardless of why the vehicle
in front may stop.

Again with the childish namecalling.

It wasn't an attack. I firmly believe that statement.

If you'd like to kill the thread, feel free. We're probably
not going to accomplish any more.
