Ok so I was just sitting here chowing down on my Double Pepperoni,
Sausage and Xtra cheese (with suplementary parmagiano of course and I
thought, why not start a flame war ;-)

Question: What is the best pizza you can still get (brand, style,
toppings)
Subquestion: The best from a national chain
Subquestion: the best from a major regional chain

Where I live there are NO local pizzerias. Its all chain stores.
Actually that's pretty much the case for every category of retailer
here. Its very rare to have an actual local only store in this area.

I can only think of 5 major national chains here in the states, Pizza
Hut, Dominos, Little Cesars, Papa Johns, and Unos, AND I DON'T COUNT
Unos cause it isnt really a pizza place anymore.

Of those Id say the best pizza is Papa Johns, but sometimes I prefer
Pizza Hut. And you can get a good beer and table service at a lot of
Pizza Hut's which is a plus.

Personally Im always one for double pepperoni, sausage, and if they
offer it bacon. I like thin crust (real neapolitan or sicilian style
thin crust not that pizza on a cracker crap that dominoes has)

My favorite regional chains are Peter Piper Pizza in the west and south,
and Papa Ginos in the northeast. I MISS PAPA GINOS. They had the
drippiest, meltiest thinnest crust pizza but it never fell apart, the
toppings were always good, and the sauce and cheese are great.

All in all my favorite pizza in fact, though I've had better pizzas, its
still my favorite (just like citizen Kane is a better movie, but the
Princess Bride is my favorite)

Also Iron mikes pizza in california is OK, and Round Table pizzaa isnt
bad. Its not good either, but it isnt bad.
