Hmmm....  With soft armor, yes, everyone seems to agree that being hit
with a large-caliber round is still no picnic.  The term "blunt trauma"
is applicable.  I understand with hard armor (metal or ceramic inserts),
this is less the case because impact forces are distributed better.

In any case, I believe it would be at most a temporary incapacitation
unless you managed to penetrate the armor.
