Which certain USB devices?  Blame the device maker, not the
system they're attached to.

My dual-cpu G4 takes 60 seconds longer to boot when I leave
a disk in the USB floppy drive - so the solution?  DONT BOOT
WITH A DISK IN THE USB FLOPPY DRIVE. 8-)
