The board I removed when converting my 610 to a 6100 was also an LC040.
There's quite a number of them out there - especially in the Quadra lines.

This works but remember to download the latest kernel loader.
You may have to tweak things on it to due to ADB and video/network
oddness. YMMV.

The 230Meg will _probably_ be big enough for a small load of Debian 68k
but as with anything you'll have to choose some fairly dedicated tasks
for the machine due to size of distro load.
Also remember to download a new kernel as the previous ones don't
support ADB well at all. (Symptoms are things like lockups during
kernel load, and PowerBook "sleep" issues during installation.)
