[SunHELP] Inetd Error messages

-- You have inetd configured to listen on port 3857 and start some
service (presumably, from these messages, fs, the Sun font server
service, although that normally runs on 7100).

-- inetd is telling you it can't start that service, because something
has already bound port 3857 (which may mean that either fs or whatever
else you're trying to start on 3857 is already running).


The following commands may help you figure out the problem further:

grep 3857 /etc/services
grep 3857 /etc/inetd.conf
netstat -a -f inet
